Tabular Iceberg, Antarctic

TAB-yoo-lar ICE-berg, an-TARK-tik  n.
  1. 1. A colossal slab of ice, characterized by its flat top and steep sides, often mistaken for a floating geological feature. Its mass and breadth defy casual navigation, esp. when viewed in stark contrast against the horizon.
  2. 2. colloq. That thiccc chunk of frozen water that makes other icebergs look like they're just trying too hard. Refuses to float unnoticed.
In a sentence,

"He marveled at the thiccc Antarctic tabular iceberg, its sheer volume making even the cruise ship seem like a bathtub toy."

Etymology,

From Latin tabula meaning 'tablet, flat piece' + iceberg, from Dutch ijsberg meaning 'ice mountain'. The ancients might have admired its lines, but they lacked the chill.
