About this apparatus
The classifier reads the image, weighs it against our editorial standards (silhouette, ratio, character, presence), and returns a rating from 1 to 10 with commentary in the dictionary register.
It refuses photographs of people. This is not a body-rating tool. The rule is the brand promise.
How the scale reads. Curves, not size. A Bartlett pear, an hourglass or an Airbus Beluga rates 9 or 10: the silhouette commits and most of it is in the back. A teapot or a croissant lands around 7. A cruise ship, a shipping container or a cement truck rates 2 or 3, however large: big is a measurement, not a silhouette.
You may rate up to 10 photographs per day at no cost. The limit resets at midnight UTC.
